Revit links not showing in view

I have a Revit link that will not show in some (but not all) of the project views. It appears in plan, elevation, and some sections, but other sections and sections details it is not visible. The link is on a workset that is turned on in view; it is not hidden by element in view. In some section views it will disappear and reappear depending on how deep I adjust the section cut depth, although when it disappears, the section cut depth is still "on" the link and should show it. In the image below you can see at the top, the link is visible, section cut depth at 9'-9". In the image at the bottom the only thing i have changed is adjusting hte section cut depth to 9'-8" and the link disappears. This is the only link with an issue; all of my other links are visible/not visible as they should be. I've checked as many settings as I can think of and nothign seems to be out of place. I've unloaded, reloaded, detached, saved as new, purged, audited ... Any thoughts?

have you tried to change the "Far Clipping"? The Clip without line, is to prefer.

That works - thanks! Out of curiosity, why would that make the difference? The issue only affected one Revit link; the others all showed up in view as they should have.

Are you links native Revit project? if they are, i cant really explain it. But if they are ifc files, or other formats, I have experinced it my self alot of times. It is like Revit wont cut the model unles it is without the line.

In my mind, i try to see it like a plan view.

If you pick "far clipping - Clip with line" it is the same as "Primary Range - Bottom" in a plan view. You will only see what is before the line. and if a link extend beyond the line it is removed (sometimes).

If you pick "far clipping - Clip without line"  it is the same as "View Depth" in a plan view. You will see all the objects.

helps?
