Revit Linestyle

Hello.

With the Linework tool, I am able to use the invisible style to override default linestyles.

Why this style is not available in the other sections of the software?

That would be very useful.

Is there a way to select all the lines of an object and override with invisible linestyle even with dynamo?

Thank you.

It is. Can you be more specific?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Maybe I wasn't clear. Sorry.

Let's say that I am in Visibility graphics, or in object style menu and I want to set the linestyle of a category to invisible.

That's not possible.

That is correct. You cannot assign any linestyles with visibility graphics, only patterns.

As to your question, "Why?" We can only speculate.

I'm not following. If you make all of the linework of an object invisible, aren't you in essence, hiding the object?  What would be left of it to see?

Perhaps you are wanting to hide Edges of a Object in a Shaded View. If so, there is a View Graphic Display Option called Show Edges that you can toggle off.  FWIW.

You could change the linestyle of a subcategory to white color and wider spaced dot pattern so that they seems to be invisible.
