Revit Libraries do not install and I try to reinstall, but it doesn't

Hi,

I tried to install the 2020 version of Revit but when the installation ended the libraries weren't installed, even if I selected the US Metric and the Italian libraries. Then, I tried disinstalling the program, to restart the installation, but because the installation program was not found I applied the manual operation to disinstall all the funcitions related to revit; then, I tried to reinstall the program, but when the installation program war running Revit results as installed, even if as I try to run it results that the program can not be found (obviously, because I deleted all the program files).

Now, I'm unable to use this product on my Laptop and I don't now how to resolve the problem. Can someone help me somehow, please?

(PS: I'm italian and ask excuses if my english writing is not perfect)

Brother, if I haven't misunderstood your question, I think I had the same issue 2 days back. To solve this:

1. Go to control panel

2. Go to Uninstall a program

3. Double click Autodesk Revit Content Libraries 2020

4. Now after few seconds loading, uninstall window would appear, select Add or Remove Features

5. Select the libraries you want in any language and click next. After the update, you would be able to access those libraries.

Hi,

thanks for the answers, but my problem after trying the  procedure to reinstall the entire software isn't the installation of the libraries (that may be the problem after resolving the actual one, tough, than at least your answers will be very usefull after),  but that, after deleting all the contents, even trough the command panel and the Autodesk disinstaller, it results that Revit is still installed on the computer, but it doesn't run at all. So, I can't install Revit anymore on my laptop. The procedures I tried to use were this ones:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2020/...

and they were ineffectives.

Why did you uninstall Revit?  Sounds like you just needed to install the Content Library.
