Does anyone know of a good book that will walk you through step by step for a residential project? My firm produces high-level detail drawings for residential and commercial buildings. We have architectural elements as "exposed Rafter Tails, detailed cornices, etc., but we find it difficult to do in REVIT.
There is a great book, Advanced Techniques for Using Autodesk Revit in Residential Design by Thad Broom, but is out of publication. It walks you through each step of the way with high levels of detail in the drawings.
Please help!
SDC Publications: Residential Design and Commercial Design consist of a series of tutorials which primarily focus on the development of a single project.
Yep!
I have that one and the commercial one, but it falls short regarding eave details. The best one I ever saw was the one mentioned! I was hoping I could find something like it.
I also know a few young architectural students who have tried to help, but they always tell me to fake it! That doesn't work to good!
Thank you for taking the time to respond.

They tell you to "Fake it"?
Fake it how? What do they mean by that?
