Is it possible that the Keynote family automatically recognizes the type of tag that corresponds to it?

Example:

Label siding with siding tag

Tag partition wall with wall and partition tag

Keynote is an in-built Identity Data Parameter in just about every Revit Element. Look for it under the Family's TYPE Parameters and fill it in.  

....wait a minute. Are you asking if a Tag TYPE can be different based on what it is Tagging.  Sure; but not automatically.  User determines the Tag Type.  You could sort of automate via Tag All and preselecting the Tag Type to be used.
