Trying to create a warping precast double tee swept blend framing family with an angular parameter for each profile.
the family flexes perfectly in the family editor, however upon loading into the project. doesn't behave in the same manner. when changing or assigning an angle value. the family's z position moves down. does anyone have a clue as to why it is shifting z offset ? in creating the tee profile with the template , i started the reference origin at upper left as my rotation point.
Ah yes; the ol' warping precast double tee swept blend framing family phenom.
The Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious workaround might work here. ![]()
Can you post a picture or file?
the family shifts down the exact vertical distance that applying an angular value creates at the other end extent. maybe maybe i need to tie in that angler dim parameter to a normal reference plane ? (not the reference level) in the profile ?
same happens in project when adding profile 1 or profile 2 vertical offset value. the family shifts down
Cheers
