Revit is not responding

An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files. It will not run revit after this. Any suggestions?

is this occuring when you open revit or open a revit project file?

if this is happening when you are starting revit, try doing a repair on revit (Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Revit, Setup Window, Repair)

if this is happening when you are opening a revit file, start with Open, then click Audit box in lower left corner of Open box, then click OK to see if it can be audited/repaired
