There are non-rectangular corner columns in my project. The exterior walls of the building are at an angle. How can I model my columns? Can I bring my axis line straight up from the column to give dimensions to my axis lines? I hope someone knows how to do it? Thank you

Not sure what the problem is? You can model the column as outlined in the screenshot.
If I understood you well you ask how someone has to place the Grids.
I can show you how I'll do it...
First of all the Grids have to placed along the Structural Beams (in my screencast I did it along the wall axis, supposing that the Beams are on top of these walls). Then follow my screencast ....

if you want to model the column as it is then follow this screencast:

Yes you can use the Multi-Segment option when Creating Grids as you Sketch the Grid Path
As regards the Column you could simply use Model In-Place Component and create an Extrusion or create your own Custom Column Family by Editing an existing rectangular Column Family to suit your needs
