Revit into Autocad very slow

Every time I am importing and opening a Revit file into Autocad, Autocad gets super slow. Is there any setting that I can fix to get especially the 3dviews running smoothly?

Thanks for the tip.

To use an old quote - maybe you need to sharpen your pencil. Maybe export one Floor at a time instead of the whole building.

How big are your RVT & DWG files? Acad can't deal with large files like Revit can.

You could try globally turning off Hatch display in Acad, which might help a bit. The setvar is FILLMODE (set this to 0)

… hi @Anonymous

… clean your model / layers a little bit

… follow this link revit to autocad

… very clear on how to edit or delete unnecessary REVIT “stuff”

… so … the model will get kind of light
