revit insulation batting line width dialogue box does not register Esc/ Enter keystrokes/ keyboard command. This is a bug that should be fixed. When the insulating batting lines width is adjusted, the mouse cursor becomes stuck inside of the Width dialogue box, and can only be 'freed' by clicking outside of the dialogue box, after fixing the numerous (Esc/Enter) keystrokes being logged.
Which version of Revit?
Hello
Am sure its about updating the Revit..am using build "18.0.0.420" and works fine..
attaching a screen-cast as well..
cheers!
It's not that it does not work. It's that the only way to get your cursor out of the dialogue box is to click outside of it. That is mouse dependent, and not in the spirit of DOS keyboard commands. Hitting Esc or Enter does nothing. This is the point. These two keystrokes should always work, during the insulation batting lines width adjustment, when the insulation batting lines width adjustment dialogue box is selected.
Once inside on the insulation batting line width dialogue box, the keystrokes Esc, and Enter are not functional. This is a bug that should be fixed. When the insulating batting lines width is adjusted, the keyboard is used to enter the dimension of the insulating line, to be followed by a keystroke Enter to complete the command. At a minimum, hitting Esc should exit out of the dialogue box. Why limit to mouse cursor clicking?
