Hi. I wanna use my revit file (revit 2014) in another software. To do this, i'm using IFC. However, when I convert my revit file into ifc and open that ifc file in another sftware, columns are missing. How can I do it?

Might depend on the version of Revit you having.

You have to set the options for the IFC export

I do not have Revit 2014. I checked with Revit 2015 when I export to IFC with structural column set to IfcColumn and load that IFC in another program the columns will show up. So at the moment I can not reproduce your issues.

Maybe you can strip down your Revit project to a few items and make an export to IFC.

(Check in your other software that the issue still exists)

Post both your revit file and ifc export. if the size is still to big you can us sites like dropbox/wetransfer/Autodesk 360 and post the link

I checked your ifc file. I opened it in Solibri. The structural columns show up there.

So maybe you have to check with the Sapphire Software.
