Revit hatch lineweight

We currently hatch our columns over with a cross hatch, however I have noticed the hatch pattern is quite thick – I believe this is because revit defaults hatch to be lineweight 1 (which we currently have as 0.5mm). is there a way to change this default so I can make it default to 0.1mm, or to change our hatch in some way to be thinner? Please see attached for example

Thank you for your enthusism for Revit Answer day!

For hatch patterns you can change the scale when importing it into Revit. Unfortunately you're going to have to reimport the hatch into Revit and adjusting the scale. The method for doing this can be found in the attached picture.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Mike, but i dont believe that will help my problem. Im not concerned about the scale of the hatch (how close the lines are together) but instead the thickness of all the hatch lines. You can probably see in the image that the hatch lines are really thick, and im hoping there is a way to make them thinner.

Gotcha. After looking at the picture I think you mean the lineweight as thickness refers to the depth of a line, not the width. This was covered in another one of our threads located here

Not a problem at all! The termonology for certain functions and properties get me confused sometimes as well. I hope the thread helps!
