Revit hangs on splash screen

We have several people today that have Revit (2020 & 2022) hanging on the opening splash screen. 

We switched to named users a few month ago and have had few problems until the last few days.

Another issue which I think may be related is that AutoCAD will shut down after a few minutes of working.

I've hit the boards and have tried several things to no avail. 

Anyone else having these issues?

I think we finally have it figured out.

We have just implemented a cyber security firm (Spear Tip) and our IT guy found out they were blocking the Autodesk License Service!

They have whitelisted that service and everything seems to be fine now.

Hopefully this information might help others seeing as how cyber security is becoming big business now.

While we were having the problems, we were able to go to Windows Services, find the Autodesk License Service, Stop and Restart it. That would work for a few hours or until we exited the software. But now that the service is whitelisted, all is well again.
