Revit hangs if model is renamed in BIM360

I copied a Revit model to a different account on BIM360 and decided it would be best to leave the old account active as a backup for a few months....just in case.

Next, I noticed that the old model was still on my Recent list ,so then I decided it would be a good idea to rename the model on BIM360 so that others on our team wouldn't accidently open the old model from the old account from their recent lists.

I renamed the model in the old account in BIM360, then tested to see what would happen if I tried to open the old file from the Recent list (expecting an error message like, "model could not be found").  Instead, Revit simply hangs. Forever.

I'm posting this here because, after a search I couldn't find a place to report a bug.  When I search for contact or feedback, I was simply sent to the forums.  I had to kill Revit using task manager so didn't get the usual bug report submittal form.  I think the bug reporting thing could def be improved.

Some test.  So, what did you learn?  Never to do that again?

Thanks for the heads up.

I've renamed a model in BIM 360 and the Recent File link in Revit still opened it.  I assume the link is coded to the file and not just the name.

If I don't want team members to access an old file, I remove their permissions.

Did you restart Revit after the name change?
