Hi guys,
following problem occurs:
While creating a hatch in sketch mode (Revit 2017) groundplan and ceiling views appear and remain blank and white. After closing the sketch mode everythings appears...However, the hatch tool works fine in sections.
Any ideas?
Best,
Alex

I guess, it is a graphics problem, did you update to the latest version of Revit and graphics card? Otherwise turn off the hardware acceleration in file>options.
hello, try to check your phasing and see if helps. thanks
Hi @alex.diebalek,
Interesting behavior.
Is this happening with one machine only/ one file only/ specific views in a project file only?
Regards,
Hi @alex.diebalek,
We haven´t heard back from you since my last post.
Have you figured out something? - Let us know.
Is the issue still reproducible?
Please, feel free to send me the file (note: you can send this via private message, that way I can handle it confidentially) if this is happening with a specific project file only.
If that is the case, make sure to let me know the name of affected views and the exact steps to reproduce the behavior.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Hi @Zsolt.Varga,
sorry for my absence...
Fortunately, I was able to solve the problem myself:
The reason for the visibility issues during the sketch mode was mainly due to the visibility settings of a linked Revitmodel which was assigned to a workset:
I just disabled the respective workset (via shortcut "VG") and everything worked fine. Apparently, the linked file was covering the entire model :). However, this became crucial only during the sketch mode.
Hope it helps for you as well ![]()
Best,
Alex
