Hello,

I have a small wall cross section shown on a set of electrical drawings in order to create a mounting detail for some lighting.

I only need the section reference on the lighting RCPs, and do not want it to appear on the power drawings. Both hiding in view by element, and removing sections from the annotative tab in the view template result in a 'ghost' section on the plan view that I cannot select.

The following screenshots show this occurring, first being before the element is hidden, 2nd being after.

Amongst hide element and removing from the view template, I have also tried deleting the section and recreating it, as well as restarting revit to see if this is some kind of graphical bug.

This only occurs on the main level floor plan, the same issues does not occur on the 2nd level floor plans.

This has me absolutely stumped, could not find any similar problems online.

Hello, have you tried changing the section to a different discipline in the properties panel? section properties.png
