Revit for MAC

I am an apple user and i use revit in boothcamp. I always change platform just to finish my projects. reading from the thread, it started year 2011 when it was said it was already in the making. Today is 2017, maybe lot of people are waiting for this release, not just me.

Wish we could help you on that one here! Here it is just a user forum and if anything you might get on this forum it would be the same as what you know already "Request is being considered" or similar reply.

 

Thinking of it logically Autodesk isn't any different from other Software developers who slowed down on developing special platforms for Mac OS. This has been the trend ever since bootcamp and Parallels tech came into play. If their software designed for window can be run using VM/Parallels/Bootcamp then where is the commercial feasibility of going for new software?! (Probably once the MacOS users of their products reach 10% of their Market)

 

Currently for every 100 users using REVIT on PC there is maybe 1 user on Mac...if not less...

 

BUT don't one should never lose faith 🙂

there have been multiple threads on this subject already

there is a post on the Revit Idea Station go vote for it and add your comments there

You will probably see a cloud based Revit before you see a native MAC version
