Is there any way to check if a Revit file is corrupt? There is no warning when opening the document at the moment but recently Revit has been causing my PC to go black screen/even reboot itself.Or could this just be a graphics problem, as a driver update did come out at the same time this has started happening, however I haven’t updated it yet!
So yes you can review the Revit file for any corruption,
1. First open the file with Audit chekced and see if there are any warnings or errors reported. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/getting-started/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/...
2. See if there are any cad files that are creating graphics issues, https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/troubleshooting/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/...
Thankyou, I have audited the file and the only warnings from the Manage tab is that reference plane is slightly off axis and may cause inaccuracies. However, when selecting all of Project and hiding everything but reference planes, it doesn't appear?
Reference planes are not visible in 3D view, however, you can ignore that warning.
Thankyou, my main concern was that the model may have corrupted as my PC shut itself down and re-booted whilst revit was open, however it didn’t attempt to make a save whilst doing so, so I’m using the model before the reboot so think I should be okay?!
