Revit Family Types??

Hello,

I have an RFA file I received from a HVAC company for a specific product "HPP-6&20".  I when I open the file it seems to be set at the size of HPP-6.

I can't figure out if there is a way to change this to HPP-20 within the Revit.  I then need to load this into AutoCad both HPP-6 and HPP-20.

I am attaching the RFA file I am talking about.

Can anyone help??

Please & Thanks,

Ashton

There is only one type defined in the family.  Does it come with an associated *.txt file?  If not, you need to duplicate to a new type and enter all the parameter values for it.

You need to put this txt file in the exact same folder as your family in order for it to work. Additionally the name of the txt file and the rfa file need to be identical (with the exception of the file extension). It looks to me like they are identical names, but verify for yourself (even a different character spacing between the 2 files will cause it not to work).

Why are you asking the same question so many times?

Your answer is in one of the other threads in the MEP forum.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Sorry about asking the question so many times.  Initially I asked on the wrong forum and was told so.  I am not very accustomed to this forum, but I'm learning.  With all the help I have determined how to do this.  Thank you to everyone.
