Revit family (SKP>DWG import) wont show in Revit.

Hi,

I am having some trouble getting a revit family to show in my revit project. The family is a DWG linked cad take from a sketchup file. It shows clearly in the revit family. I also have placed a reference model line within the family. When i import to my project all i can see is the model line i drew. When i click on reveal hidden elements, i can see it there, but i cannot unhide it.

I have checked Phases, Worksets, Discipline, Visibiliy Graphics, LOD. Nothing seems to show.

Im lost as to why this is happening, especially since i can see it in my model when i click reveal hidden elements.

Any solutions?Annotation 2020-03-27 005124.pngAnnotation 2020-03-27 005322.pngAnnotation 2020-03-27 005351.png

have you checked your imported categories?

VG Overrides > Imported Categories, make sure everything is checked in Importes in Families

if that's not it, can you post the family?

Thank you for your reply,

Everything within the imported categories is turned on.

I have attached the Revit family here for your reference. Any other options?

Thanks.

well it was worth a shot.... :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht: just an FYI when i bring it into my testing model it comes in just fine. make a New floor plan view (View > Plan Views > Floor Plan) edit type and set the View template to None. does it show in the new view?

Ahhh! I needed to turn on imported categories in the  import settings of VG. Easy. Thank you for your help.
