Revit family(objects/models) ownership

Hey guys,

I am currently working with the main contractor and I would like to create a library contains all the Arch/MEP/STRU families we created in previous or on-going projects. (Just like the library from Revit itself)

However, I am wondering is there any methods allows me to keep the ownership of the model to our company, that others could use but not able to edit the Type Properties in the project. So that we could have really good presentations for tendering by using our own created models.

Has anyone had the clue for this? Thanks

Best Regards,

QL

So basically, you want to know if you can create Revit content that is proprietary?

You can use BIMsign to sign the families invisibly (prove authorship) but you cannot protect the parameters.
