Hi everyone,
I have used Dynamo to generate points from an AutoCAD file, and have joined the points using splines and lines.
I have added line divisions to then grip the cross-section family on. So as you can see, half of the cross-sections are great, but the others won't align correctly.
I need most of the line separate as different portions of the alignment will change in the superstructure.
Any Ideas? I've been trying to follow the REVITalise webinar from the Autodesk University but the methods he has used only consider one line.
Within the family that needs to stay perpendicular, select the adaptive point and go to Instance Properties...verify Orients to is set to Global (z) then Host (xy)

Thank you both for replying.
I had already set the divisions the way you have shown in the video for each segment of the line, as well as setting the reference point to that option.
I redid everything and the problem still persists.
Can I attach the files for you to have a more detailed look?
Did you ever solve this? I'm having same issues & hunting for a solution.
