Revit Family - Material not applying

Found this Corinthian column top for a project on Revit City. No matter what I try I cannot get this model to apply a material. I have tried applying it by family, by type, making new parameters, through object styles, paint tool both in the family and in the project. If I explode or try to edit the layers of the import instance the model gets deleted.

The family is under the category for planting, so I can scale it to size. I don't believe that would be hindering the ability to apply a material. 

I am trying to apply the marble.png to the entire family. Please advise

That family is built with CAD import. Check the import and then change the material here
