Revit Family Lessons

Hi All

Would anyone know if there's a tutorial to cover how to make families? There are many forms of families when I open the library, and each has its own logic, eg Generic adaptable,

Would there be a general course for how to use these families?

Thank you so much!

You can visit my YouTube channel.  It has lots of videos on Revit and many on families....You can search by product or playlist.

Paul Aubin has a wonderful course on Lynda.com (which is also LinkedIn Learning) showing the fundamentals and complexities of family creation.

And there is also Autodesk Design Academy which has courses available simply with your Autodesk login. The Introduction to BIM course has a video which shows how to draw a parametric table, and many of the points covered in that video apply to most family categories.

I learned how to create families by googling and finding a tutorial that I could follow.  You will need a good understanding of the software before taking on this task.
