Hello all, I seem to have a family that thinks it is a central model with worksets, and it is making it rather annoying to save the family. I've tried a save-as with a new name, I've tried to file->open-> click the detach from central option (it's grayed out), and I've tried to open & audit the file, then save-as with the audited file. Nothing seems to work, as the file still thinks there are worksets active in a family, which I didn't even think was possible. I'm on Revit 2022.1.
Any ideas of how to fix this?
I cannot upgrade it to 2023 to see if it fixes it as I need it in a 2022 project file.
Family is attached here.
Update: Not sure what caused it, but I was able to recover the family. I downloaded our template from BIM360 and did a full detach from central & discard worksets, then saved-as. After that, I placed a copy of the family that was already loaded into the project, hit the edit family button, and I was able to save-as a copy of the family that didn't have any work-sharing issues.
Wow... i have never heard of anything like that happening before. At least you got it resolved
