Revit: Family Furniture-Align and Snapping

I have some difficulties to creating furniture family:
I want to modify panel size using handels or align tool in 3d view not on plans or elevation. With handels I cannot do it at all only with align tool but panels only move whatever I want to strech not move.
And also handels visible in 3D view whyle I use Reference Line If I use Reference Plane the handles disappear. Is it correct way or I miss something?

you cannot use the default premade mass objects (box.rfa) for what you are doing.  You will need to create a custom family using reference planes and geometry that is aligned and locked to those faces.  You can then flex the model accordingly in any view.
