Revit Families

Just started using Revit earlier this month.  Before Revit, I was using chief architect which was okay, but Revit is far superior.  Does anyone know where I can get brand name appliances and finishes?  Chief Architect has a  official page where they have all kinds of families, does Revit have anything like this?

there is always the Out of the Box library with 3000+/- families. if you "Need" branded content, check with the different manufacturers. i also like using BIMObjects.com.

Hi @13lemartinez

Bim object is a good place to check out.

Agreed. Remember to set the detail level of views with BIMobject components to Medium or Fine -- at Coarse, you will usually get chunky cuboid approximations of many objects.

Go directly to the Manufacturer's website. They are quite a few who offer both CAD and BIM Content. If they don't have Revit content, they may have still have content you can use directly or indirectly.

...you may even be able to convert your Chief Architect files.
