Revit export to IFC automatic translucent

Goodday everyone,

I'm having a little problem with an export. I've seen this problem once before. In that case it wasn't a problem....

When I export a model, the Roof is translucent, i did not make the material translucent. What did I do wrong? The previous time it was with windows... See the attachment for an example off this challenge..

Can anyone help me with this challenge?

Hard to know from screenshot if it is a bone-fide "problem" or just attributable to the view display settings or the material settings.  Maybe posting the file itself would be better.  Might not even be replicable on our end, meaning that the "problem" is local.

Barth Bradley, thanks for your reply.

I think it's more likely the problem is a local one. But I just don't know what I did wrong. Is it something in the exportsettings? Can it be the material? Did you ever experience something like this? I will upload the Revit file with this problem, when i have the time for it. I have to clean up the file before I can do this. Do you also need the IFC-file?

I have promissed you the model. See the attachment. I als included the IFC-model. (The IFC-file wasn't allowed)

Here's that IFC Roof opened in New Project/IFC Template:

All I did was Edit In-Place and do a Partial Explode.

Kill the transparency on the Panlatten Material...this layer will wrap at the edges forcing that invisible effect on the whole roof. If you need this layer to be transparent in model ... set the transparency under Appearance tab not graphics

If you MUST have the transparency under graphics (for presentation purposes)

• Either model it as 2 separate roof elements (1st for the Shingles and a 2nd for the Latten) 
• Or Instead of Roof Element, use a Floor Element which can be converted ans exported as parts

Thank you very much. This was the problem. I have changed the transparency into 0 and I have changed the transparency under Appearence.
