revit error during rendering

How do i resolve the issue File could not be translated: error code -1, it happens during rendering the cloud as well as trying to open it in twinmotion. i already ran an audit and checked vg and nothing has been resolved.

Without knowing much about the Revit environment, I can only guess one thing - is your C:\ full? You need a 100GB minimum to open models, print and render without weird errors.

- Do you get the same error on a different computer? or a different version of Revit?

- The Revit model file might be corrupted or maybe contains elements the renderer doesn't support

- System specs? graphics driver up to date? etc.

- Is there a windows update lurking? reboot and see?

yes, I sent it to my professor to see if it was just my computer, but he still had the same issue on his. I have the most recent Revit update and I also ran an audit on the file, but nothing happened when I did that. I got this laptop three months ago specifically for Revit. It has more than enough specs to run what I’m doing. It also started happening with one of my other files as well, but I went back to some of my older ones and they didn’t have an issue

Also while troubleshooting it was said that it could possibly be because it’s a recovery file but I also have no clue on how to resolve a corrupted recovery file.

I wish you could send me the model for testing. Also, what about rendering NOT in the cloud?

i only have a student account so I cant save my file to the cloud to share. It is to big to send through here. I will try rendering in revit itself.

it works within revit but it just doesn't look that great even at the highest resolution.
