Hi, I tried to open Revit on my laptop but it automatically closes down when it loads, see picture below.
It worked perfectly fine earlier today. I have tried to update and reinstall Revit but it still didn't open.
I installed datasmith for twinmotion 3 days ago, can this be the cause of the problem?
Do you have firewall or virus protection turn on?
What version of Windows are you using? Win 10? Check if there are any unsuccessful updates recently. I had a security update a couple months ago that would not install, kept failing. That prevented ANY Autodesk software from starting up. Once I managed to get the update installed...all better. It took nearly a full day to resolve and nearly three hours of it with Autodesk support on the phone ruling all sorts of things out. The update seemed minor to me...but it wasn't!

Sometimes the firewall and anti-virus may trigger the software to stall until you put Revit in their safe to use software. One user who experienced Revit won't load and it was firewall/antivirus software causing it.
it could be the datasmith for twinmotion addins cause the issue? uninstall first the addins and check if the latest version match your current revit version?
