Hi all,
I am struggling with top rail joint in stair's railing I created.
If offset from path is set to 0 Revit creates top rail properly but I set offset from path to -2.5cm, which I need to properly attach raling's balusters to concrete slab under stair's finishing,Revit makes incorrect joint in top rail.
Does anyone have idea how to correct this?
Regards

Most of the time I prefer to model in place these kinds of detail. Unfortunately, railings, stair or ramps haven´t the best personalized fine configurations ![]()
You can try to switch from Gooseneck to Simple and see if that gives you better result.
Hi Syman,
yes,I tried that... doesn't solve the problem....it seems Revit doesn't have good solution for automatic railings...
@m.milovanovicJM673 Revit has many options to configure railings, but sometimes we can't ![]()
A good item to the wish list would be an edit 3D sketch path do draw railings like a semi-manual-mode...
sometimes it depends how the railing is constructed. Share the railing sample so we can take a look.
