I have created a custom pattern based on a grid coordinate that I created in AutoCAD (attached). When I import it into Revit, it seems to stack in a funky way (also attached) and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I was following the logic of the formula, but there might be another way to do it? I have a repeating pattern but the unit of custom values are not adjacent to each other like most simple patterns.
The Pattern:

You might try "reverse engineering it"--import the cad drawing into a drafting view.
Then use a "hatch pattern maker" like Hatch 22 , or PyRevit to create the pattern.
You have mixed-up the origin for every line. The 2nd and 3rd entry on a line is the X [2nd entry] -Y [3rd entry] coordinate of the origin of the line. Swap those and it will be fine.
