We use Revit 2015 (All Versions) at the company I work for. Most of the employees have been using AutoCAD for most of their careers and I had a few ask if there is a way to change the cursor to a crosshair like AutoCAD?
this is not possible
you can try this..

Win 11 Pro/DELL XPS 15 9510/i9 3.2GHz/32GB RAM/Nvidia RTX 3050Ti/1TB PCIe SSD/4K 15.4" Non-Touch Display
Has anyone ever made or found a listing of all the Revit Cursor symbols?
What would be the purpose? I have never seen one, but there may be a way to get it, but I am not sure what you would ever use it for beyond satisfying your curiosity.
Well let me take a quick look and if it is really easy, I will gather them up and post them. Not sure how easy it will be though.

I took a look and it was not really clear or easy. It looks like those images are bound up in the UI framework asset of some type, so not straightforward on how one might get at them without too much work. Sorry. ![]()
IF the cursor is intelligent then why does the type of snap point not show when I grab a line? Or this a different setting that has to be turned on or off or added?
it has been my experience on both learning and teaching
AutoCAD is not Revit.
the cross hair would potentially be a distraction in your views
when learning Revit forget a %age of what you know in AutoCAD.
if you can do that you will learn Revit much faster.
good luck with Revit training.
Interesting topic. I m more interest in a super big Red arrow at the cursor when stroke a specific key, say f10. I did lots of screenshot, this helps point out specific location on screen....anyone ?

What do you mean? Snap Points (i.e. "Midpoint", "Endpoint") do display at the Cursor -- along with Symbols (i.e. triangles, rectangles). Snap Overrides are also available through the right-click menu.
I got a little excited when I read this about a big red arrow (no pun intended)
. I also like the idea of a crosshairs. For example when I want to see what nominal size i need something that i am going to grab for such as an upper cabinet. I could line the cross hair up in the section view with the bottom cabinet and see if i need and 18 or a 21. Just me. I am new, Revit is a bear to learn but I see the long term benefits. I also appreciate what the other commenter said about leaving ACAD with ACAD and accept Revit as it is and learn to work with it.
We installed Windows 11 powertoys and utilize the Mouse Pointer Cross hairs option that we toggle on/off using win+shft+x to activate it when needed in revit.
It takes the guesswork out of guessing a good start point to select certain items across the screen without selecting other close by items.
The issue I have is with the crosshair pointer when using some tools/commands, such as linework. It's very small and discreet, and it's hard to keep track of as it gets lost the display of other elements. When using linework, I constantly have hit CTRL to hit light the crosshair location. It would be very useful to be able to control the size and color to make it more visible.
