Hello! I need your help, please
Revit 2016 crashes when I work with the file with linked models. When links are not loaded everything is fine. But when they loaded, file crashes, while I’m opening any view or even when I load link. It happens only with one model and only on one computer. All the latest updates for Revit and video card are installed. What could be a possible reason for that?
The journal is attached

Hi @Anonymous,
I might be wrong but I have the impression that Revit is running out of virtual memory.
Have you got more that 2GO of free space on your main Hard drive (the system one) / and/or memory management drive?

From my interpretation of the journal file i see few things.
-Revit can not find all linked file
-Not all the files are from the same Revit version
You could try the following.
-Make sure the linked files can be found.
-Try to load the links one by one and see if it is a specific linked file that causes the problems
-Load the linked files standalone and see if there are issues with one or more of the files
-Upgrade the linked files before linking them in the host project.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Hi François
thank you for your respond
don't think this is the problem(( I have enough free space and virtual memory
Hello Louis
Thank you for recommendations
-Make sure the linked files can be found. - have done it. If all the files are loaded Revit crashes while opening some of the views
-Try to load the links one by one and see if it is a specific linked file that causes the problems- have done it. Opened all the linked file with AUDIT option and resaved it, didn't help
If you know a particular view that crashes Revit, I would try the following. With visibility/graphics overrides hide all linked files in that view. Close and open the view and see if it does not crash. If it does not crash unhide a link and repeat the process (close and open the view). Repeat until it crashes again. If you can fix it down to a single linked file you could repeat the process and hide/unhide different categories to see if the issue can be attributed to a single category/family which you might be able to correct
