I cant seem to be able to open up a revit file even the backup files after it crushed.

Funny, I had the same hiccup yesterday with 2018. Rebooted and everything fine. Probably Windows-related.
..."crushed"? You mean you "crashed". Do a Repair.

Can you let us know which version of Revit you are using? Can you check your desktop app if you have the latest updates installed for your Revit version?
Did it generate a crash report?
