Revit Components GUID

Greeting to you all.

I am not sure how simple this is or if it possible to do. How can I bring the GUID of Revit components into the schedules which basically I am also exporting to excel

Thanks in advance

You can use Dynamo...see link below

https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/how-to-get-the-revit-elements-guid-and-ifc-guid-using-dynamo/9676/2

Alternatively you can try the Interoperability Tools - COBie Extension for Revit ... I believe it has the option to get the GUID and map it to your excel sheet

Hey rdaou thanks for the quick reply. I do not know if I can purchse this Database Editor in time. They take a whole lot of time to approve a purchase here even if it is for 1$.

I am too old to learn dynamo at my age so I would leave this as my last resort. Is this COBie Extension free? or also paid like Database Editor? Where can I find or download from?

It comes free along with the subscription. You can download it from your account management as part of the BIM Interoperability tool....there is a download link on the following websites which I believe would take you straight to your account management
