Revit COLORS appears differently as in AutoCAD

Hello,

I would like to ask you why colors which I used to work with in autocad appears differently in Revit now when I switch my work to this BIM soft.

For example "magenta" looks a bit nicer in AutoCAD then in Revit.

Why is this happening and how can I solve this issue please ?

I attached image to better represent my problem.

Thank you for your advices in advance 🙂

Most likely because someone at Autodesk decided to color it this way? If you want the elements to match, obtain the RGB value of the color in AutoCAD and use that in Revit.

My RGB in AutoCAD is : Red-255 Green-0 Blue-255 (It´s magenta color)

My RGB in Revit is : Red-255 Green-0 Blue-255 (absolutely the same as in AutoCAD) and it appears differently.

My question is how is it possible that color with the same RGB code can appears differently.

If some color has it´s own RGB code, it should be the same in every corner of the world...

But in this case, 2 softwares from 1 manufacturer (Autodesk) shows colors differently. Unbelievable for me ...

How do the colors look on white background?

i would assume the CAD user complaining about Revit not looking like CAD would consider using a white background a sin.

@MichalHakel_SP try printing both and see how they look in PDF. Use and RGB color picker within paint or similar to confirm the difference.
