Good afternoon, I'm having problems when I try to open a tool's help menu.
When I place the mouse over the tool, after opening the tool's help menu, revit freezes and then closes.
can anybody help me?

Go to Options=>User Interface=>Tooltip Assistance and try a different setting.

When I leave it at the Minimum it resolves, but I wanted another way to resolve it so I could view the tip assistance.

Hi,
Couldn't find a specific Error page for this.
But read this Troubleshooting: Tooltips , and see if you're system can play Mp4's normally

@barthbradley , think that's a old one.
Flash is no longer used from Revit 2016 up I think, the links I provided refer to R2019/2020 as using MP4 video
AutoDesk should embed a lightweight player so it's not depending on a player of the system.

As I did not find a way to continue showing, I will remove the tooltip.

Hi,
Did a search, thought the video's would be embedded somewhere, but they are stored as seperate mp4 files.
See the following location: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Revit 2020\videos\ (or other Revit version)
Can you play them outside Revit?
