Revit cannot print directly to printer

When trying to select a printer on Revit, Revit will not print to any other printer except for Bluebeam. Our work around is to print to PDF and then print the PDF to have a paper copy. Any ideas on this? We are on Windows 10 and Revit 2018. I have updated the printer driver and Revit itself, but no luck so far.

You could try to find the printer on your network and make it the default printer. Maybe then it will populate your printers list.

Unless you just want to quickly print off something, best practice is to usually print to pdf and then print the pdf out with the printer. Then you have a digital record of all your prints.

Thank you for your response. We have tried selecting the network printer as a default, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. Revit can select the printers and make it appear that it is working, but it never makes it to the print queue.

Not answer your question but it is better to print to PDF then print the PDF to your printer.
