Working in our Chicago Office on a project with our Dallas Office.
I can access the Dallas drives and overwrite/copy/move things without issue using Windows Explorer. Whenever I try to open/import/overwrite things from within Revit to either Dallas drive (J or L) I receive the error message and it won’t work. If I save an original version of a family from Revit to the Dallas drives it works but if I then try to save any updates I make to this hypothetical family I get the error can and am unable to save. For the moment, I’m saving families to my desktop and then moving them manually to the Dallas drives as needed.

Are you using any accelerators ? Riverbed, Panzura, Nasuni, Globalscape for replication, DFSR,
That could also add some lag, ( they claim its instant, but you never know)
