Trying to restore a backup on a project, and when I go to collaborate to backup, no files show up in the backup folder although in windows explorer there are files of significant size labeled as rhino worksession file types. Surprised to find no one else discussing this after searching google for it. Many architects work in both programs.

Hello and thanks for the post. Are you using Collaboration for Revit? Do you have a screen capture that you could post that shows the files?
thanks,

You won't see and won't need to see any files when you going through the process of restoring backup via Collaborate. Just click open when you are at the backup folder and it will bring you a list of available backups.
Don't attempt to do anything to the .rws files in Windows Explorer. They happen to have the same extension as a Rhino Work Session does not mean they turned to one.
Attached is a screenshot. I made the default program that opens the files revit instead of rhino. Still nothing appears in the backup folder when I go to backup in collaborate and yes I'm using collaborate.
ROFL! You've got to be kidding me. Yes of course why didn't I think of pressing open when no file exists in the folder...
