REVIT (and AutoCAD) working on virtual computers

Need to know if REVIT 2019 and AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture & Civil3d 2019, are supported on Virtual computers. If so, any guidance on what & how to set this up? We are currently using Panzura(s) for our 3 locations but management is looking to get rid of them. I'm very concerned as we tried VM's years back with a bad experience. Need to know what's available and recommended now.

Hi Tanya,

My understanding is Virtualization of Autodesk software is only permissible for Stand Alone licenses. I read that there was a class on this subject at this past AU. There has been some confusion on this because at some point in the past I believe the EULA included Network Licenses as well for virtualization.

As for the technical aspect of running the software on virtual machines, it is being done by many firms. Third party hosting services like Advance 2000 continue to provide a possible solution to dealing with the WAN.

Obviously my experience is primarily Revit though.
