Has anyone gotten past Linking IFC's with the Archicad IFC Interoperability plugin showing random duplicates of the geometry suspended hundreds of feet in the air. On our BIM360 online viewer of the IFC it shows up perfectly, and when linked into our Revit model - is when everything seems to go wrong. It would be great to get on a call with someone at Autodesk to trouble shoot this. This problem has been on-going with seemingly no resolution from anyone and causing serious headaches for all consultants trying to work with an ArchiCAD model.
The functionality of these two software's talking with one another seems to be a hiccup that could save hundreds of coordination hours and tens of thousands of dollars (likely more) spending time trying to figure out what is wrong on the Revit translation end.
Another note. If I save the IFC file to my desktop - I do not see duplicate geometry. If I take that same IFC file and load to Autodesk Cloud Doc to link in the IFC that way - duplicate geometry....
Are you talking about the "IFC Model Exchange with Archicad Add-In"?
I am not familiar with this add-in or Archicad. But if you receive an IFC from an Archicad user and you link it in with Revit without using (if needed uninstalling) this add-in, then does it work properly?
And if the issue is this add-in than you should contact the writer of that add-in (Archicad I think).
And if you want to contact somebody from Autodesk than the best way would be to create a support ticket in your Autodesk account (but expect if it is a third party add-in they will refer you to that party).

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
Understood. We have Graphhisoft on as a consultant. This issue is only on the Revit side. Ironically, if I link the IFC from my desktop I get one thing and if I link it from BIM360 folder - another thing. The plugin is being used across the board for IFC's.
