Hello,
We are running Revit 2022 and I'm getting reports from our Instructor and Students that '3D views are disappearing.' It doesn't seem to be related to specific models of machines, and I've applied the latest Hotfix to no avail. Any ideas? See the instructor's specific statement below:
We are having a problem with the graphics in Revit when using 3D views and setting that view style to "Realistic". For some reason none of the materials show up in that view and it looks like the model has disappeared. However, when we rotate or zoom the view everything shows up (it's odd).

I can only confirm that weird sh*t like that happens to us more often than before the introduction of "real-time" Realistic. It was particularly bad in 2021. 2022 in more stable, but still needs improvement. With that said, unless your instructors and students are able to replicate an issue by doing the exact same thing, there's not much to go on here. Know what I mean?
I hear ya. Glad to hear that others are experiencing this and that it is a known issue. I can probably work on deploying the Hotfix to improve the behavior but it still isn't 100% resolved.
