Revit 2025 Problem/Bug ?

So recently i have upgraded to Revit 2025 however after getting it set up and working i noticed that the trees and shrubs i place come up as just a grey box except for 1 tree and also that one tree dissapears when i switch to realistic textures. I have tried reloading the family, editiing it and even consulted my lecturers about this problem with absolutely no luck. I was wondering if anyone here could help me fix this issue?

I can't speak to trees... but make sure you applied all service packs up to R2025.4

and what GPU and are drivers up to date?

Revit Version: R2026.4
Hardware: i9 14900K, 64GB, Nvidia RTX 2000 Ada 16GB
Add-ins: ElumTools; Ripple-HVAC; ElectroBIM; Qbitec

@marcinoleksy004

Edit the family the go to Type Properties and check if it has a Render Appearance assigned to it. This is practically what shows when in Realistic mode.

If the reder appearance is assigned, yet it is not showing then it means you are mostlikely having graphics issues then you can check and make sure to implements what @HVAC-Novice suggested

Hi, thank you so much i had to deselect and reselect the render appearance for it to come back up and its working again the trees are looking way better this way than a grey box to be honest.

You mean you use an iGPU (integrated in CPU)? Those are very weak and inadequate for graphics. Maybe try on a desktop with dGPU (dedicated GPU) and see if the problem persists.
