Revit 2025 – Missing Blue Region for Project Browser Position

Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue in Revit 2025 where the blue region that typically indicates the Project Browser's position is missing. Instead, only a thin blue line appears, making it difficult to properly dock or reposition the browser window. This change is not very user-friendly compared to previous versions.

To illustrate the difference, I've attached a video comparing Revit 2024 and 2025.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a workaround or fix for restoring the blue region?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Not really. Why for you it is more difficalt in 2025 vs 2024 is hard to tell but in terms of functionality, it works exactly as expected in 2025.4 (see the GIF below).

This could have to do with the screen's extent versus the set resolution which you are using, causing the application's border to fall slightly off the screen. Restoring the application window could make it easier for you to hover over the app's border.

Make the Revit window smaller, not full size to the edges of your screen, and then dock it. I just did it in my session because I was having the same issue and it worked.
