Revit 2024 won't export Datasmith file or Open in Twinmotion

I've recently installed Revit 2024 and also the updated version of Twinmotion. When I go to export a file to a Datasmith file, it does nothing. It also does nothing when I try to "Open in Twinmotion". However, I was able to do it before today and I have done nothing different. Is there some way to fix this or repair the programs without having to reinstall?

Did you say you have managed to export datasmith files from Revit 2024 before? Datasmith does not support Revit 2024 yet. Did you manage to install a version of Datasmith in Revit 2024?

Yes I was able to.whwn I first installed and then i was able to update one of my TM files from 2022.3.1 to a 2023.1 file with the new model. Now it just doesn't do anything. It does even open in the "Open in Twinmotion".

I have the exact same issue...kind of.

I updated a Revit Project from Revit 2023 to Revit 2024. I updated the same project in Twinmotion from 2022.3.1 to 2023.1

Now, I cannot export Datasmith, and when I select "Open in Twinmotion" from Revit, It opens a blank project.

I fixed my issue by basically uninstalling Revit 2024 and reinstalling it. Has worked ever since . “Touch wood”.

i cant even get the plugin to show in 2024 now

Hey guys, i think i had the same problem. It comes from rhino inside i think. In the properties of this last plugin i unchecked lunch rhino at startup and then it worked. Hope it helps.

I am having a similar issue. Since downloading Revit 2024 Twinmotion only opens up a project with the lighting and nothing else. I have tried to reinstall many times and cannot get it to work. I think there must be some incompatibility between Revit 24 an the recommended Twinmotion program, yet I am unable to myself. Please can anyone assist in this? I have added a screenshot to show there is only lighting in properties.
