Hello!
Today I tried Revit 2024 mainly for the toposolid feature, interested in making paths along a topography surface with thickness and all the new features. However, when I try to import my .csv file on which I'm working (Revit 2022) most of the points are missing, generating imprecise geometry which didn't happen in Revit 2022.
It seems that when I import the file, the points who are too close to each other get omitted or deleted, is there a way to import all my points? I don't see any options in Revit 2024.
Here's how it looks on Revit 2024 toposolid.
And here's how it should look like (Revit 2022)
It seems odd that I cannot modify the toposurface in Revit 2024, is the toposurface tool gone altogether? If so, I think I should work in Revit 2022 for this kind of project. Cheers!
Yes, the toposurface tools are gone in Revit 2024. I am studying this topic this week, and my thought is that both tools should coexist, with all their tools, instead of removing features, such as the ability to edit points. the ability to use building pads plus the ability to merge two parts of a topography that were split before...
I'm having the same issue in 2024.1 (without the patch) large amount of missing points.
I'm hoping with the update this has been resolved. I've had to go back into revit 2023 and model all topography there.
Need a bit of common sense here.
like Autodesk are trying to keep program up to date with 20 plus year old code in an increasingly cloudy environment
