Revit 2024 Railings are masking everything. Can't see top rails

I found an issue with railings in Revit 2024.
In a plan, if you turn off all the railing subcategories except for Top Rails, the railings will mask everything. Notice how the stairs look odd, that's where the railing is masking the treads, risers, and top rails. Its happening in R23 as well but at least it's not masking the top rails.

There must be another explanation.  Post the file.

@barthbradley Its my company's master template so I don't want to post the file but I might be able to post a purged and cleaned version on Monday.
@barthbradley can you try replicating the issue and see if it works for you?

No railing should show in Plan View.  You've got every subcategory unchecked.

Every one except for Top rails. So shouldn't the top rails show? And why are they masking everything beneath?

@barthbradley This only occurs on stairs. Flat railings work fine.

Yes. I suspect an override is acting on the View. Don't know for certain, but like I said, there's an explanation. It's not because of the version of Revit.

@barthbradley
I tested some things and figured it out. I opened the out of the box (OOTB) Revit Sample Arch project and tested the railings. They also mask everything the same way. But, it only happens when the railing has a non-continuous rail. And the only way you can tell that the non-continuous rail is masking the stairs is if your top rail is a smaller diameter than the non-continuous rail.  It has nothing to do with our file or views and is in fact a Revit glitch. I'm positive you can recreate the exact issue.

Not to jump on an old thread, but I stumbled onto something similar today in Revit 2022 and Revit 2025 and have attached screenshots and the Revit files if anyone can explain what is causing this.

Essentially, it appears that @dfoth is correct, and there appears to be a Revit glitch. I have opened the standard Architectural Template, placing two OOTB columns and a railing (1100mm HT). When the column  top offset is located at 1200 A.F.L, the column appears as normal - as it should; however, when you change the constraints to be higher (my screenshots show the second column with a top offset at 3000 A.F.L.), the railing will mask the column. This makes the railing appear higher than the column which is incorrect.

No visibility properties or settings have been changed. This is using the OOTB default settings. The only change is to the column top level offset. The railing also does not have a non-continuous railing so something else has to be causing the glitch imo.

@barthbradley files attached if you want to explore. Maybe someone smarter than I can explain what is going on.
