Hello everyone,
Kind of a noob here and this is my first post. I got an Autocad solid imported as generic family in Revit. I made walls-by-face from this solid and intersected them with mitter join. All good but I cannot intersect the last wall for the life of me. Can someone please explain why this happens and possibly lead me in the right direction ? ![]()
Thanks !

Typically using pick by wall tool is difficult to have clean corner. To over come this, I would use the massing to pick the roof top and bottom
Instead of picking the wall by face, I drawing straight wall for all 4 corners and add slanted wall. Then attach the wall to the top and bottom of the roof.
Then use in-place wall family to cut off access wall.
As a result you will see the wall with clean corner. (see attached)
Thank you so much @syman2000 ! I was about to further ask about roof intersection problems, but this obviously solves it as well. Christmas came early this year i guess
@syman2000 well actually there would be one more thing. I started adding layers to the roof and I cannot make the clean intersection of roof and slanted wall. I used to do this in sections with ref planes, but I cannot seem to setup a section in which to setup a ref plane for this. And I know ref planes cannot be setup in 3d. Is there a workaround for this ?
I assume you are talking about this?
First make a copy of that roof and placed it in the same place. So you would set the reference plane
Create In-place family
Then cut the roof
